Put my car for oil service with my own oil and filter(aftermarket, not cheap oem). They broke the drain plug and billed new one on me. Also billed water fill up for washer on me, never asked them to. And final touch on a cake - once I grabbed the car after service the engine started to grunt and run heavy. I've checked the oil level and it was way above maximum! Drained about a quart of oil and now it's right below maximum level. Why the hell 5 star rating?

I took my car to a local smog check place and it didn't pass. So I contacted Taylormade via their website, explained the situation in their online form, and redeemed a coupon for "FIRST TIME CUSTOMER - Oil Change Service - Oil & filter change plus complete full vehicle inspection and tire rotation" When I arrived, I was presented with a quote for $360. ~$100 for the oil change and ~$250 for labor to investigate the issue ($10 in taxes). This was shocking given the "coupon" I supposedly redeemed. Additionally, they said my car would need to be left for the day. I refused, told them to rip up the quote, and left. I ended up going to a local place in SF; was initially quoted $180 for the equivalent service, and then only ended up being charged $65 (as it ended up passing smog) and I was in and out in 30 minutes. Poor first customer experience; would not recommend taking your car here.

Love this company. They picked up my car, put on new brakes, called me a couple of times during the service, and they returned my car to me. Wow, awesome customer service. Would recommend Taylormade to all.
