Situated and nestled in the heart of Beverley Hills, just moments away from Rodeo Drive, IL Pastaio is an experience any visitor should take part in. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was impeccable. My steak was cooked exactly to my liking and was so flavorful and tender that I savored every bite. My husband (who is a vegetarian) and is extremely picky, since having past experience working in the restaurant industry, raved for days about his appetizer and entree. When visiting LA in the future this experience has now become a must have instead of a want.
This restaurant has been here for 25 years. And there is a reason for it. I myself have not been in a bunch of years. And my dinner tonight was exemplary. Everything was fantastic The salad the pasta the dessert and the wine. Mind you it is not inexpensive cuz you are in Beverly hills but everything is absolutely delicious and I loved everything
A gem for those who appreciate great food, service and ambience. I had their caviar service several weeks ago...uniquely presented. Check it out for yourselves. Do ask for creme fraiche.
Not sure what all the hype is about. It's supposed to be a classy nice spot but the vibe is way off, it seemed like they pick and choose who they want to give good service to. I think they either fell off or have never been all that great but just cater to their regulars.
Had a very good meal this week. Started with prachuto which was a B+ We had some wine which was good. Then ordered the cheese egg plant with sauce which was horrible D. Then ordered the spaghetti with the Bolognese sauce. It was pretty good. B. Then ordered egg plant with noodles which was excellent. A- Dessert was outstanding. It was a Birthday meal, and I ask they bring dessert for my guest. They did it was excellent however they charged me even though my bill was over $200.00. Not a classy move. Overall, I still give a “B” score.
