Very unprofessional and charge extra fees for mysterious items that they, and their billing company, cannot explain. We had to get the BBB involved just to get them to address the issue! My wife went in to get new contacts. They said her eyes were "so bad, they had never seen anything like it." Super unprofessional. Yes, my wife's eyes are bad, that's why she is going to an EYE DOCTOR!! They did not know how to order the contacts either, the doctor basically went to Google and looked up a place that would accept my wife's prescription. Then after that they billed her incorrectly, charging a mysterious extra $90 dollars for nothing. The lady at the front desk had no idea what it was from, despite my wife having the receipt for it from the office as well as on her credit card bill. The lady GUESSED (no, I'm not joking) GUESSED that it was a copay, which my wife knew for a fact that it wasn't because her insurance doesn't charge copays. The lady's response was "they all do!" She clearly had no clue how insurance actually works and was a complete idiot. So then she has my wife call the billing number. THEY were actually helpful except when pulling up my wife's record, there was no record of the mystery $90 and they were not even sure what it could have been for. So, we should talk to the doctor right? Nope, sorry, they are always out of town for weeks on end apparently. So now what? I guess we have to call our credit card company and challenge the charge as criminal activity? Seriously? Never going here again, obviously, but also seriously considering calling the police to report credit card fraud. Edit: After using the BBB the get results we finally got our $90 back. Seems the only way to get results from these people are with drastic measures.

The worst and least professional optometrist I've ever been to. If I could give zero stars I would and recommend no one ever see this "doctor". While I was in the waiting room I could hear the "doctor" and his assistants openly making inappropriate comments about their clients. During examination he seemed more interested with engaginig in flirtatious conversation with his assistants than the actual exam. I gave them my insurance, which they "accepted" and received payment of $220 from. Then a month later, I received a bill in the mail for $80, which they say "wasn't covered by insurance". I come to find out after the fact that they charge $120 for an exam if you pay in cash. I can see why they were so eager to take my insurance and not tell me about their cash policy. If this kind of practice isn't illegal, it should be. Totally unprofessional and borderline scam artists.

RIP Dr.David R. Oldenburgh. You were a very nice man who had a lot on your plate your whole life. Now you are at peace with Shannon and your son. Taken so young. My son, David told me you passed on 7/30/18. You were always kind to my mom and me when we came to your office. Thank you for being a professional.

I've been to going to Dr. Oldenburgh since I was 11 years old and I don't think I can trust anyone else with my eyes. He's given me free eye drops countless times and is willing to see patients outside of his normal office hours for emergencies. I am so grateful for his generosity. He knows his patients well and is willing to help them at all times.
